Ashley Norman, Head Nurse
Ashley recently moved to Colorado from Minnesota and began working for Mountain Ridge shortly after.  She began her career as a CVT in June 2008, graduating from Glade University in Minnesota.  She obtained a degree from the     University of Minnesota-Crookston in Equine Science.  She worked as a horse trainer and riding instructor for 3 years before becoming a CVT.  After working for an equine veterinarian as an animal caretaker/assistant, she took an interest in veterinary medicine and moved her career in that direction.  While she has passion for horses, she enjoys working in private practice with small animals.  She loves to assist in surgery and monitor anesthesia.  Ashley enjoys working at Mountain Ridge Animal Hospital because the staff holds a high standard of care for their patients and  has some of the latest technologies.

When she is not working with animals, Ashley enjoys hiking, road biking, alpine skiing, and exploring the area.  She currently does not have any pets but hopes to get a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a horse someday.

Rachel Telles, CVT
Rachael is new to the MRANH Team.  She is originally from Boston Massachusets, but chose to move to Colorado to attend Vet Tech School.  Rachael graduated from Bel-Rea in 2010.  She took her time in finding a veterinary hospital to work for. One who shared her same goals and passions.  Although Rachael is new, she jumps in to help her team wherever necessary.  She is a great asset to the team.
Rachael enjoys being in Colorado and exploring the great outdoors, dirt biking, hiking and her new puppy Azza :)

 Heidi Sprang, CVT
Heidi began working at Mountain Ridge Animal Hospital in May of 2009 after graduating from Bel-Rea Institute.  She is originally from Ohio where she earned a Bachelor?s degree in Zoology at Miami University.  Before moving to Colorado she spent several years working as a zookeeper during which time she had the opportunity to care for a broad range of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians.  She is especially fond of her time working at an exotic feline sanctuary and at an endangered Hawaiian bird conservation center.  Always enjoying the veterinary aspects of her job as a keeper, she decided to change careers and become a veterinary technician.  She enjoys working at Mountain Ridge because of the high standard of care provided to the patients and because it has allowed her to grow as a technician.
Heidi lives with her two cats Ethel and Norman and in her spare time enjoys hiking, sketching and painting, reading and going to the movies.  She also volunteers at a wild bird rehabilitation center in Denver, where she worked while attending Bel-Rea.

Sarah Kwiatkowski, CVT
Sarah moved to Colorado from Vermont in 2002 to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder where she earned a bachelor?s degree in biochemistry.  While attending CU she worked in the cell biology and genetics labs, but also had the opportunity to begin working at a small veterinary clinic in Boulder.  After years of gaining experience in numerous areas in the veterinary field she enrolled at the Bel Rea Institute to become a certified veterinary technician and graduated in June 2011.  Soon thereafter she began her career as a CVT at Mountain Ridge Animal Hospital.
Sarah enjoys working at MRANH because of the team of highly skilled and compassionate doctors, technicians, and receptionists who provide the utmost levels of care to patients and clients.
Sarah has two Siamese-mix cats named Athena and Brutus who are her pride and joy.  In her spare time she likes to make sure her cats are adequately spoiled, but she also enjoys running, watching Rockies? games, and baking.

 Meghan Kutsko, CVT
Megan grew up in Boulder, Colorado and shortly after graduating from Boulder High School attended Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology.  She has completed her internship here at Mountain Ridge Animal Hospital and graduated from Bel Ray in April 2010.  She was so impressed with the quality of medicine and high standards held at Mountain Ridge, she continued to volunteer in order to keep building her know;edge and skills.  Megan has her hands full with Dozer, the Chihuahua, Daisy the Boston Terrier, and Trip the boxer.
