Liz knew even before she could talk that she loved being with and caring for animals. She has raised squirrels, raccoons, kittens, birds, bunnies, and puppies over the years. In 2003 she started working with a local veterinarian in her hometown of Deltona, Florida. Here she was trained as a veterinary technician. She continued working with animals when she moved to Colorado in 2004, until she left with the U.S. Army in 2006, where she worked as a military police officer. She joined our staff in September 2009, bringing with her knowledge and love for veterinary medicine. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, and has a strong drive to learn. She lives with her husband and kids and enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her family.
